On Thursday, November 12, 2015 at 1pm, the 49th Precinct will be honoring one of its officers with a "walk-out" ceremony.    Police Officer Owen Ortiz is a stage-four cancer survivor which he contracted as a result of tireless and selfless rescue efforts surrounding the tragic events of September 11, 2001.  We cordially invite you to join the officers of the 49th Precinct along with other friends and family for this momentous occasion, congratulating and bidding farewell to Officer Ortiz on his retirement.
